Through the Canada Summer Jobs program, Environment Hamilton is seeking a young person with a passion for the local environment to be our 2023 summer intern.

This position will be an 8 week contract (35 hours per week, $17.20 per hour) and a successful candidate will report directly to the interim executive director and project assistant. You must be aged between 15 and 30 and be legally entitled to work in Canada to be eligible for this position.

The summer intern will assist with ongoing advocacy and community outreach and education efforts in the City of Hamilton, and with the right candidate there are opportunities to craft a more specific work plan suited to the interests of the intern.
