Environment Hamilton has multiple concurrent projects underway! Browse through the list below to find out more about what we're doing in Hamilton.
The Hamilton Pollinator Paradise Project is a collaborative initiative between Environment Hamilton and the Hamilton Naturalists' Club. We are working with communities to build an uninterrupted Pollinator Corridor across the City by planting habitat including native plants, milkweed and other wildflowers, and promoting biodiversity.
Environment Hamilton is a proud member of the Urban Climate Alliance - a network of four Ontario-based local environmental organizations working to share knowledge, skills and lessons learned in order to inform and strengthen climate action in our respective cities.
Environment Hamilton has partnered with Dr. Sarah Styler of McMaster's PARTICLES research group on an exciting new project to answer a common question many Hamiltonians find themselves asking - What's The Grime? - This project will sample dust fall (or grime as it is commonly referred to by many) across the lower city.
