Dofasco will host its quarterly Community Liaison Committee meeting on Wednesday, May 20 from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm. Residents can register to attend via the link on Dofasco's website HERE. You can find more information about past Community Liaison Committee meetings at the link here. 

Dofasco representatives have agreed to host an in-person meeting for the first time in a while. Residents can attend in person (ArcelorMittal Dofasco Main Office: 1330 Burlington Street East, Hamilton, ON L8N 3J5). Residents can also register to attend virtually (Microsoft Teams). New community members have been added to the Community Liaison Committee and this will be their first official meeting.

Dofasco representatives usually begin the meetings by presenting recent coke plant emissions opacity results (i.e. the darkness of the clouds of smoke emitted from the coke plant smoke stacks). Next, a representative may include a very brief coal phase-out project update. Lastly, they will take questions from members of the public.
