Environment Hamilton has obtained copies of the Ministry of Environment, Conservation & Parks (MECP) orders issued to the City of Hamilton in August of 2018 in response to the chronic spill of sanitary waste from the Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) tank at King/Main into nearby Chedoke Creek and Cootes Paradise.

These orders are public documents and they contain detailed information regarding what the MECP learned about the situation and the subsequent actions the MECP has required the Municipality to take.   Note that there are two orders - an original and a revised order.   Both contain important information about requirements for action.
