Environment Hamilton Finds a Home!

After a relatively brief search, Environment Hamilton has found a wonderful home. We have established an office in the building owned by the Hamilton & District Labour Council. Located on Barton Street East, just east of Ottawa Street, the building is in an ideal location for us. We are close to industry and in a reasonably central location within the new city. We're also right on the bus route — a bonus for any environmental organization.

Our office will serve a critical role in our efforts — providing a workspace for EH staff and a meeting place for citizens interested in obtaining guidance and assistance to address environmental issues of concern.

Adjoining our office space is the Labour Council's classroom — a bright and airy space which the council has made available to EH for use once we begin offering workshops and courses on environmental matters. We will keep members posted on when these opportunities become available.
